I had so many goodies related to Storming that I didn’t have time to get them all in before its release last Friday. Here’s one I especially had fun putting together.
Desktop wallpaper!
If you’re tired of looking at the same ol’-same ol’ every time you visit your desktop — or if you want to show your love for all things dieselpunk and 1920s aviation — or if you just want to remind yourself to read the book (wink, wink), here are three spiffy new wallpapers to choose from.
Instructions:
1. Click on your image of choice.
2. When the full-size image loads, right-click, select “Save image as…”, and browse for the location where you want to save the file.
3. Find and open the file. Right click and select “Set as desktop background.”

Last Day to Win!
Don’t forget today is the LAST DAY to enter the mega-prize drawing for a Kindle, signed copies of my books, an Amazon gift card, and lots more goodies. To enter, click the button below, then scroll down to the Rafflecopter widget at the bottom of the post. Good luck!
And, by the way, if you’re interested in more wallpaper, you can find some for both Behold the Dawn and Dreamlander. Just click through these links to their respective pages and look for their wallpaper at the bottom of the left-hand columns.
Let’s chat! What are you using as your wallpaper right now? Tell me in the comments!
I’ve had the ex machina movie poster ‘what happens if I fail your test?’ as background for a bit. But I might fly Stürmen for a while. 😉
Was that movie any good?
Well, yes … and no. I have a special interest in robotics; particularly how roboticists make robots talk and sound human, as well as behave like humans. But I am also a member of the coalition of scientists against the weaponization of robotics and, more recently, the coalition against making female robot sex-slaves. While ex machina doesn’t focus on former, it does focus on the later – which I didn’t know before watching the movie. But, the theme of self-aware robots, of course, is one I find very fascinating, and was – as well as Philip K. Dicks Do Androids Dreams of Electric Sheep (the basis of the Blade Runner movie) – partly inspirational for the writing of my book Do Robots Dream of Love? which I hope will one day grace bookshelves in book stores. Do Robots Dream of Love? was quite challenging to write, too. 😉
Sounds interesting from all angles.
The last one seems the most fun. I really like the tagline of this book. 😀
Thanks! I had a lot of fun putting that one together. 🙂
I had a NaNo calendar as my wallpaper, it was cute but now is time to change. Since Dec has started. 😉
Yes, time to start editing that NaNo beast now. 😉
Yeah, it’s tiring me out just to read all the crap. But gotta admit there are some really cool bites which I don’t even remember writing. 😉 Oh, and the feeling of holding my whole manuscript in my hand. NaNos are totally worth it’s salt for newbies.
